What happens if …

What happens if …
– if you need to go to the hospital?
A topic of discussion in my book club group the other night.

An EVERYTHING book

‘Create an EVERYTHING book’ advised a member especially to the single parents out there, something the kids can use to stay ticking over while you are recovering’
It should include:
  • contact information for people who can assist your young adults navigate this uncertain time
  • contact information for access to some emergency money
  • your will
  • your living will (medical directive)
  • a list of all the utilities that need to be paid (hopefully already set up on autopay from your bank account)
These thoughts are echoed below in a very timely podcast-byte by Diane F. Wyzga a lawyer and a nurse.
These are uncertain times. The old rules do not apply.
Your GenZ kids can and will manage this increased sense of knowledge and responsibility.
Indeed, what will they do if circumstance means that they have to?
Would you not rather that they were somewhat prepared?
This is not thinking negatively.
This is being aware and being prepared.
This is how we tilt the future in our favour.
