12 Apr Hope
Spring has always been linked to a feeling of new beginnings and fresh starts.
In Nature’s cyclical cycle, it is about signals of rejuvenation.
It is the sight of tulip shoots peeping through the soil.
Like the kiss of warmth from a sunbeam under a clear blue sky.
Waking up to the sound of bird-call.
Or that pesky baby bunny nibbling at the new daffodil greens.
Definitions of Hope allude to trust and optimism
If you look up the definition in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary it offers a modern and an ‘archaic’ definition
In the archaic definition, there is a nod towards trust.
But there is also this sense of optimism and positivity in the word.
These seem very apt descriptions for hope in the middle of this Covid crisis.
Are you ready for hope?
Have you found yourself at that point?
Are you ready to believe in the I’m possible instead of the impossible?
Are you already moving from crisis to survival towards optimism?
And if you are not, how can I meet you where you are to help you in this moment where you find yourself?
Because I am holding the space ready for hope for you,
for when you are ready.
