From sea to shining sea

July 4. Independence Day. And an explosion of fun and festivities across the USA – from sea to shining sea.

America the Beautiful – from sea to shining sea

There will be parades across the country, and a lot of flag waving and national pride.
Big ones in all the major cities.
And small ones in little towns and villages. Complete with their fire trucks, scout troops and marching bands.

And at each parade, at some stage, the band will strike up ‘America the Beautiful’.
And it gets me in the heart.
EVERY SINGLE TIME.

The lyrics

O beautiful for spacious skies
For amber waves of grain
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

Awareness:  What a great time to enjoy the bountiful natural wonders of the USA. To actually see the mountains; feel the air, the water and the breeze.

To share with our brotherhood the gift and wonder of the fruit trees, the bountiful prairies and natural geographical wonders from Niagara Falls in the north to the Grand Canyon in the south.

Action:  Talk.
Talk is powerful. Sharing is powerful. Taking action in the way of engaging the people around us in their opinions and ideas about the climate – whatever they are.

Just get the conversation on their radar
