21 Jul Chief Seattle: ‘We do not inherit the earth from our ancestors’
Do you agree with Chief Seattle’s comment? It is supposedly based on a speech made by the Chief in 1854.
This is an opportunity to have a debate and discussion.:
Personally I think it is both.
We borrow it from our children.
AND
We inherit it from our ancestors who cherished it, with the understanding that we hold it in trust for our children.
Make. Take. Talk.
Make: time to mull on this quote today.
Take: a minute to think through your reaction to the concept. How can you support it in your daily actions?
Talk: I recognize that this may be a challenging topic to discuss, but I do think this is a debate worth having.
So, who are you having the discussion with today?
